Open from Downloads
Use the completed record as a direct path into playback instead of finding the same file again through a separate file picker.
ALBA's player is connected to your downloads and private vault. Open supported completed media directly, watch without returning to the source page, and keep it away from everyday camera-roll clutter.
Some vault-account, search, and bulk features require Pro. Current limits and pricing are shown inside the app.
Only save media you own or that the source explicitly authorizes you to download and keep. Availability depends on the page, format, and source rules. ALBA is not designed to bypass access controls or digital rights protections.
The useful moment is not only when a transfer reaches 100%; it is when the finished file opens reliably later.
Use the completed record as a direct path into playback instead of finding the same file again through a separate file picker.
Organize media with folders and favorites, then play it from the protected space where it already lives.
Once compatible media is finalized locally, normal playback does not require the original page or the same network connection.
Verify the result once before depending on it without a network connection.
A network transfer can finish before ALBA has fully validated and stored the result. Wait for the completed status.
Open the item and verify that both tracks work. Container and codec support can differ between source versions.
Move the completed item into the right folder, mark it as a favorite, and reopen it from the vault when offline.
A file extension describes a container, not every codec inside it. A video can finish downloading but contain a video profile, audio codec, separate track arrangement, or malformed data the device cannot play.
When the source exposes several compatible versions, another quality may also use a different codec or packaging. Verify playback while you still have access to the authorized source, especially before travel or a long period offline.
What offline playback does and does not guarantee.
Not for normal playback of a compatible completed local file. The source may still be needed if the download was incomplete, authorization expired, or a fresh version is required.
The source may use a separate or unsupported audio track. Try another compatible source-provided variant when available.
Yes, supported imported media can be organized and played from the same vault as completed downloads.
No. Offline means the file is stored locally. Backup is a separate choice you control through encrypted exports or Apple-managed device backup.
Save compatible media, verify it once, and reopen it from your ALBA vault when you are offline.
