One place for imported and saved video
Keep camera imports, Files imports, shared media, and completed compatible downloads together instead of splitting them across unrelated apps.
Imported videos and completed downloads share one protected space in ALBA. Organize them outside the everyday camera roll, open them privately, and decide when to export or share.
Some vault-account, search, and bulk features require Pro. Current limits and pricing are shown inside the app.
Only save media you own or that the source explicitly authorizes you to download and keep. Availability depends on the page, format, and source rules. ALBA is not designed to bypass access controls or digital rights protections.
A private vault should help you manage the file throughout its life, not just move it behind a lock screen.
Keep camera imports, Files imports, shared media, and completed compatible downloads together instead of splitting them across unrelated apps.
Place videos into folders, find them with search, mark favorites, and keep separate local vault spaces when different contexts need different boundaries.
Open supported media from the vault or Downloads, keep playback position during the current app session, and watch offline without exposing the file to a public web page.
Vault files are stored in ALBA's protected local app space. The developer does not operate a cloud account that can browse your files and does not upload vault contents to a third-party server. Optional iCloud device backup is controlled by Apple and your iOS settings.
Local-first does not remove your responsibility. Anyone with sufficient access to an unlocked device, exported copies, backups, or your passcode may reach the content. Keep iOS updated, protect the device, use a strong passcode, and maintain independent encrypted backups for irreplaceable files.
The vault is useful for both existing personal media and future compatible downloads.
Set up the local vault and protect access with your passcode and supported device authentication.
Bring in personal media or complete a compatible web-media download that the source explicitly permits you to keep.
Keep the file private in ALBA, open it offline, or intentionally export an encrypted or usable copy when needed.
What the vault protects and what still depends on you.

No. The developer does not have your local passcode. Use a passcode you can retain safely and keep backups of important files.
Yes. Export and sharing are actions you control. Encrypted export can help with backup or transfer, while a normal export makes a usable copy outside the vault.
No. A private vault and a backup solve different problems. Keep an independent backup if losing the device or app data would be costly.
